Pay for the parts a veteran builds with
Donations cover materials, tooling and supervised bench time. That's what keeps every course free for the veterans in it.
Online giving isn't open yet
We're setting up payment processing now. If you want to give before it's live, say so and we'll arrange it directly — a check, a transfer, or parts and tooling instead of cash.

Where our tax status stands
S.M.A.R.T. Vets has applied for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and the IRS is still reviewing the application. So we can't tell you today's gift is deductible. If the application is approved, exempt status is normally backdated to the day we formed — which would make gifts given during the review, including yours, deductible to the extent the law allows. If it's refused, they won't be. Give on that basis or wait for the letter; both are reasonable.

Rather give parts than cash?
Suppliers and shops often can. Tell us what you've got and we'll tell you whether we can use it.
